Frequently Asked Questions

Granular media filtration is recommended when the primary concern is the removal of harmful gases, odors, and volatile chemical compounds rather than dust or particulate matter. It is commonly used in environments exposed to corrosive or hazardous airborne contaminants.

Yes. Granular media filtration helps reduce gaseous pollutants and odors, supporting indoor air quality objectives in commercial, industrial, and healthcare facilities. It can complement ventilation strategies designed to meet applicable IAQ standards.

Yes. Pharmaceutical facilities often use granular media filtration to control airborne chemical contaminants, helping protect manufacturing processes, sensitive equipment, and product quality in controlled environments.

Corrosive gases can damage circuit boards, servers, and electrical components over time. Granular media filtration removes these contaminants from the air, helping extend equipment life and improve operational reliability.

Yes. Wastewater treatment facilities frequently use granular media filtration to remove hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, and other odorous or corrosive gases, creating a safer and more comfortable working environment.
